Did You Know Portal Admins can give non-admin users access to reports?

Users with front end admin access can use the Reporting feature to pull down and schedule reports. They can also share these reports so that non-admin users can have access to them on the portal via the Tools tab.

This is different from simply scheduling users to receive reports by email.

  • Scheduling is for setting up reports to go out
to selected users in automated emails.
  • Adding Users and User Groups to a report gives
those users access to the report so they can view it on the portal any time.

Benefits to the Client

  • Give non-admin users the ability to view
    specific reports on the portal.
  • Users can select date ranges and edit filters on
    reports.
  • Users can export/download reports.

How It Works

To give a User or User Group access to a report:

  • Go to the report in the Admin section. Admin
    > Reporting
  • Click the View Users and User Groups button in
    the toolbar.
  • Click the Add button next to Report Users or
    Report User Groups
  • Select the Users/User Groups you’d like to give
access to this report and Add.

Users can view the reports they have been given access to by going to Tools > Reporting.
