Users with front end admin access can use the Reporting feature to pull down and schedule reports. They can also share these reports so that non-admin users can have access to them on the portal via the Tools tab.
This is different from simply scheduling users to receive reports by email.
- Scheduling is for setting up reports to go out
to selected users in automated emails. - Adding Users and User Groups to a report gives
those users access to the report so they can view it on the portal any time.
Benefits to the Client
- Give non-admin users the ability to view
specific reports on the portal. - Users can select date ranges and edit filters on
reports. - Users can export/download reports.
How It Works
To give a User or User Group access to a report:
- Go to the report in the Admin section. Admin
> Reporting - Click the View Users and User Groups button in
the toolbar. - Click the Add button next to Report Users or
Report User Groups - Select the Users/User Groups you’d like to give
access to this report and Add.
Users can view the reports they have been given access to by going to Tools > Reporting.
