Did You Know Auto Wave Warehouse now supports Fixed Assets?

Until now, Auto Wave Warehouse skipped right past any order that included a Fixed Asset item — even if every other line on that order was ready to ship. Those orders sat in the warehouse window waiting for a manual pull. With a new Include Fixed Asset Orders setting, you can now extend Auto Wave to target these orders too, so they move through your fulfillment flow with the same automation as everything else.

This setting is available for both the Warehouse Window and the Fast Pick Page, so you can turn it on wherever your team processes orders.

  • Fewer warehouse touchpoints. Let Auto Wave do the work of waving Fixed Asset orders instead of routing them to a person for a manual pull.
  • Faster order processing. Orders move to the next step in your fulfillment flow as soon as they’re eligible, without waiting on manual review.
  • Consistent behavior across your setup. The same targeting logic (Fully Available, Partially Available, Demand In Progress) now applies whether or not an order includes a Fixed Asset.

How It Works

  1. Go to System / Site / Warehouse Settings and open your existing Auto Wave configuration in the Warehouse Window section.
  2. Turn on the new Auto Wave Fixed Asset Orders setting alongside your existing Auto Wave availability targeting (Fully Available, Partially Available, or Demand In Progress).
  3. If you also process orders from the Fast Pick Page, enable the matching setting there so Fixed Asset orders are picked up by Auto Wave in that workflow as well.
  4. Click Save.

Once enabled, orders containing Fixed Asset lines will be evaluated by Auto Wave using the same availability rules as any other order, rather than being excluded outright.
