The Order Intercept feature is a powerful tool for automating order management workflows. As you build out more complex and numerous rules, keeping track of your configurations becomes increasingly important. To help with this, we’ve added a simple way to export a complete record of your Order Intercept setup.
A new “Export to Excel” button is now available on the Order Intercept Setup page, allowing you to download a CSV file of your current configuration for easy review and record-keeping.
Benefits to You
- Comprehensive Audits: Easily review all your intercept rules and actions in a single document to ensure they are configured correctly.
- Simplified Collaboration: Share your configuration with team members for review or with our support team for faster troubleshooting.
- Offline Access & Record-Keeping: Keep a local copy of your configuration for your records, making it easy to track changes and maintain documentation.
How It Works
Exporting your Order Intercept configuration is straightforward.
- In the back-end, navigate to Portals > Select a Customer > Intercept Orders.
- In the top-left corner of the page, click the “Export to Excel” button.
- A CSV file will be downloaded to your computer.
The exported file contains three columns, with each row representing a single action:
- InterceptType: The type of intercept (e. g. , Part, User, Carrier).
- BasedOn: The specific criteria the rule is based on (e. g. , SKU, Usergroup, Country).
- ActionPerformed: The action taken when an order is intercepted (e. g. , Add Part, Add Order Comment).
